Balkan Homicide Study – 1st Project Meeting

From 3-5 March 2016, the project meeting on Balkan Homicide Study took place at the office of the Max Planck Partner Group in Zagreb.

The project meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Albrecht, director of the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law, Dr. Michael Kilchling, senior researcher from the same Institute, and an expert from each of the participating countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey), who will be conducting the research in their countries.

The meeting was used to plan the regional study on the phenomenology of lethal violence in the Balkans.
